So these snow days have you in a rut and want to try something to get you out of it?  Try coloring your hair.
If its your fist time, I would recommend a lighter shade than your natural one and definitely look for hair color with cool or neutral tones. Warm tones may leave a brassy sheen, which may ruin your look and get you in a  worse mood than you began with.  Colored hair (especially if it’s porous) needs more care to look great and vibrant! This especially goes for blonde and red hair that washes out horribly without the right shampoo and conditioner. The solution? Oribe shampoo and conditioner.  Splurge a bit more and get a product that will keep your new hair color vibrant for as long as possible!
One think to think about, don’t dye your hair if you’re not ready to make it work for you and have no time to get it touched up, refreshed or cared for properly. Don’t lighten it more than two shades or expose it to harsh chemical treatments if you’re not ready to accept the fact that chemically treated hair needs more care.
